High-Current Power
Every part and material within the PS10 has been optimized for maximum peak-current transfer, as evidenced by its massive peak and continuous current ratings. With a powerful 20A capability for the unit, the PS10 will support entire systems, massive high-current amplifiers, and everything in between. Venom PS10 outlets grip power cords tightly, making it nearly impossible to dislodge the power cords unless removed by hand. In short, the PS10 highlights the critical relationship between clean, uninterrupted power, and getting the best performance possible from your home-entertainment system.

Ultra High-Performance Outlets
The outlets designed into the PS10 are high-performance triple-wide contact outlets that hold power cord pins with a vice-like grip, optimizing peak current transfer and creating the most secure connection possible. Kinetic Phase Inversion Processing
Developed by Caelin Gabriel after years of research into the underlying causes of various effects such as burn- in, wire directionality and the effects of cryogenic treatment. He discovered that there was an underlying core principle that burn-in and cryogenics only partially addressed. Once the governing principle was understood it became possible to create a processor that reduces the need for long burn-in periods and eliminates the effects of cryogenic treatment.Shunyata uses only the highest purity copper available for production of wire products. OFE Alloy 101 or C10100 is the highest grade of copper with a minimum 99.99% purity and a conductivity rating of 101% IACS. OFE stands for oxygen-free electrolytic and supersedes the term OFHC (oxygen-free high conductivity). C10100 is the only grade of copper that comes with a written certification of purity. Certified by ASTM F68 C10100.

Custom Footers
Power distributors are fairly sensitive to vibration. Using the Shunyata vibration analyzer, Shunyata developed an Isolation Footer specifically for the PS10 possessing excellent measured vibration dampening characteristics.

System Protection
Venom PS10 comes equipped with a custom-manufactured Carling Electromagnetic breaker. These are superior in performance to fuses or thermal breakers and are not typically found in products anywhere near this price point. The electromagnetic breaker silently protects against over-current conditions which could harm electronics. The safety breaker resets at the touch of a button. For transient protection, Shunyata Research recommends using their Venom Defender, a stand-alone, plug-in module which easily can be added to the wall outlet or the PS10.

Noise Reduction Power Cord, Built-In!
Topping the list of value-added parts and materials in the PS10 package is the inclusion of their12AWG high-current noise reduction power cord. The integrated Venom 12 NR power cord drops noise by a whopping 10dB across all frequencies! This reveals more detail, better imaging, smoother highs, and more well-defined lows. Using the Venom PS10 with video components will also deliver dramatic benefts to picture quality and smoothness of motion. Kinetic Phase Inversion Processing (KPIP™) v2
Shunyata's proprietary Kinetic Phase Inversion Process dramatically reduces burn-in time and significantly improves sonic performance. KPIP is a four-day process Shunyata created that runs varying amplitudes and frequencies of electrical signals through the cable to quite literally align the metal conductors at the atomic level. This process is an essential part of why their products deliver such a relaxed and life-like presentation. KPIP v2 is an enhancement to the original KPiP service and is vastly more effective. In fact, Shunyata considers it to be on par with a component-level upgrade!
