AES/EBU (developed by the Audio Engineering Society and the European Broadcast Union) are the two-channel digital standard for interconnecting digital devices. AES/EBU can be single-ended, balanced, or optical, this cable is a balanced-digital interconnect. And while AES/EB cables may look like ordinary microphone cables, they are very different. Unlike microphone cables, which are designed to handle signals in the normal audio bandwidth, AES/EB cables are used for digital interconnects which handle a much wider bandwidth. Have a question?
