SRX Series Power Cable - SRX XL Power Cable.
Synergistic Research was curious what would happen if they took their highest-performance power cord, the SRX, and scaled up the number of its internal hand-made air-dielectric pure silver high-current geometries. Two additional pure silver 14 gauge high current geometries were added along with two additional pure silver AirString geometries to make an entirely over the top power cord with an air dielectric. Not surprisingly, this took the SRX’s industry-leading dynamics to a whole new level. This also improved nearly every aspect of its performance, including soundstaging, a lower noise floor, and increased high-frequency extension with silky smoothness, creating a high-current power cord like no other.

Surprisingly, this range-topping cable has become SR's new benchmark for all AC applications in any system, whether the low to moderate-current-demand components of a DAC or a preamp to the high-current-demands of power amplifiers and their own PowerCell line conditioners. The truly astonishing part of this technical feat is that this was achieved without compromising SRX XL‘s flexibility. What’s inside?
 Synergistic's SR25 technologies include a pure silver Ground Plane which can be connected to any of their Active Ground Blocks for a much lower noise floor and increased holographic sound staging and dynamic impact. The Swiss-made power supply optimizes the pure silver EM Cells for outstanding tonal purity and dynamic range. SRX has the exact same wall and IEC connectors developed for the SR25  power cord, constructed from Carbon Fiber and using special Rhodium contacts selected using blind-listening tests for their perfect sonic balance. Each SRX power cord utilizes dual carbon fiber UEF Tuning Modules specially voiced for the SRX XL to strike the perfect balance between detail and musicality for any system. To voice the SRX XL for your system first listen to the Gold (warm) and then the Silver (detail) bullet. There's no wrong choice here, simply select whichever sounds best in your system, the one that makes music.

Both Gold and Silver bullets are handcrafted in our Southern California Factory from carbon fiber and aircraft aluminum with the Gold option plated in 24k Gold not only for aesthetic beauty but also to help voice the bullet to its intended role as the most musical option for specific systems. To use SRX Carbon Fiber Tuning Modules, allow your SRX cables to settle into your system for 48-72 hours, and then experiment with your two options on a cable by cable basis. Start by inserting a Gold Bullet and then compare to the Silver option and select the variant that makes music in your system. Gold Bullets have a warm and liquid balance that is also more open and transparent than our other warm-biased tuning bullets. While Silver is more extended and detailed but the option that will work best and sound neutral is totally system dependent. If you voice your SRX cables one pair at a time, you will find one color that works best in most applications, plus a few that perform better with the alternate option. This process is how you will get the best from both Gold and Silver bullets when arriving at a bespoke cable loom voiced for your unique system.
