RED DAWN POWER CORD
In the early days of audio, it used to be the case that all systems ran on stock power cords. Recent experience has shown that, far from the occasional afterthought they once were, properly designed audiophile power cords are fundamental to system performance. In fact, the effects are so demonstrable, so obvious, that power cords are fast assuming their proper position as the most important cables in your system.
The Red Dawn Power Cord employs high-speed, low-loss, heavy gauge construction, using 3x 14 AWG Micro Mono-Filament conductors sheathed in FEP insulation. The minimal dielectric effect and propagation delay ensures that power is transported as directly as possible, straight to your equipment, while purpose built, audio-grade connectors maintain the low source impedance of your AC supply and ensure superior grounding.

The Leif Series 2 cables use scientifically proven methods and technology derived from the development of Nordost's Valhalla and Odin ranges, applying these essential principles to create cables which evoke dynamic, low-loss and realistic performances from even modest components and loudspeakers.
Leif Series 2 cables are constructed using silver-plated, OFC solid core conductors, which form the basis of Nordost’s great sound. The conductors are then treated with Nordost’s innovative precision FEP extrusion process, where each conductor is individually enclosed in FEP insulation. This technique greatly reduces the dielectric properties of the cables in order to increase signal speeds and accuracy in signal transfer.
To build upon this foundation, Leif Series 2 cables are designed with a mechanically tuned construction that optimizes the dimensions and spacing of conductors to reduce dielectric effects even further.
