The Synergistic Research PowerCell 8 SX redefines the standards of power conditioning by incorporating every available technology from Synergistic’s portfolio into a compact, ultra-performance unit. This small chassis is quite massive, CNC machined out of heavy gauge aluminum with Carbon Fiber features, marrying durability with a contemporary aesthetic.

The PC8SX introduces significant technological advancements with the inclusion of Synergistic's latest Ultra Low Frequency RF biasing (ULF) and a cutting-edge PCB power supply. Engineered to ensure the cleanest power delivery and the lowest possible noise floor in your audio system.

Like all modern PowerCell products, the PC8SX receives Synergistic's Ground Plane Technology allowing for even blacker backgrounds and a vanishingly low noise floor, so only the music comes through.

A major highlight of the PC8SX is the comprehensive redesign of Synergistic's patented ElectroMagnetic Cell or EM Cell. Inspired by those used in their flagship SRX PowerCell power conditioner, these new EM Cells represent a significant upgrade over previous efforts. The EM Cells in the PC8SX have double the surface area and conditioning power of previous versions.

Galileo SX ULF Generator:
The PC8SX is equipped with Galileo SX PCB technologies including UEF Purple Capacitors and a dramatically improved Dual Channel ULF generator. Originally designed for the flagship Galileo SX Ground Block and PowerCell models, the newly developed, 3 x more powerful, multi-setting, Ultra Low Frequency (ULF) generator allows users to select between multiple generator frequency settings. Providing the ability to adjust the characteristics of your PC8SX ground/power components to perfectly match your system and music style

Galileo SX Dual Frequency/Dual Setting ULF Generator
The PowerCell 8 SX features a multi-frequency ULF Schumann Frequency Generator to complement either large or smaller-scale performances.  To make accurate small and large scale soundstaging reality, Synergistic uses technology first developed for their Atmosphere Acoustic Field Generators.  After creating multiple combinations which proved unsatisfactory, ultimately, Synergistic found two ideal frequency pairings to perfectly complement large and small scale acoustic environments.

The multi frequency bias of the internal EM Cell is similar to what you would hear when comparing the original FEQ field generator to an Atmosphere Acoustic Field Generator, the larger device presents music on a grander scale with improved dynamics and musicality.  At the press of a button you can optimize the PowerCell 8 to your system and personal tastes,  easily switching between Red and Purple settings. Select the option which makes your music come alive. 

Two frequency bias, one perfect sound:
     Red Frequency: voiced for acoustic instruments, vocals, and smaller-scale performances
     Purple Frequency: convincingly portrays large-scale performances and electronic music.

PowerCell Grounding - Channel Clarity, Ground out the Noise
Like all modern Synergistic PowerCell products, the PC8SX incorporates Synergistic's ground plane technology. Featuring a gigantic 62 square cm  ground strap made of pure silver, the PC8SX is able to greatly reduce its own internal noise. Connect the PC8SX to any of Synergistic Ground Blocks to immediately improve black levels and low-level detail retrieval. For optimal performance one of Synergistic's Active Ground Blocks is preferred.
