GTO-D3 Plus NCF (R) Power Distributor

Furutech thought the GTO-D3 through from beginning to end. The aluminum chassis is hefty and CNC machined out of Aluminum for stability and RFI rejection. The outlets are Furutech's top GTX-D NCF (R) outlets, each one mounted in a sturdy aluminum GTX Wall Frame and fitted with an RFI and EMI rejecting 106-D Plus carbon fiber cover. The inlet is Furutech's own FI-06 NCF (R) and of course, all  internal wiring is Furutech's ultra-pure Alpha-22 μ-OFC with double layered premium insulation. Furutech even fitted the base of the GTO-D3 with their Formula GC-303 noise-eating compound to absorb spurious energy. The individual components of the GTO-D3 alone cost more than the box itself, making this one of the best bargains in high-end audio.

The sound is wide-open, ultra-pure and very clean. There's a lively and rich quality to the GTO-D3, the presentation is free-flowing, with a wide bandwidth and great extension, never hard or harsh (except during burn-in, when the unit can sound a little sharp). There's a "sweetness" or rightness to Furutech's NCF, a touch of golden warmth which illuminates from within, delivering a more musical presentation.

Nano Crystal Formula (aka NCF)

Formula GC-303
GC-303 is a special material Furutech bonds to the interior lower plate of the chassis to absorb Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) generated by voltage and current passing through the unit. The GTO uses no filtering besides Formula GC-303, so there are no elements in the signal path allowing this unit to deliver maximum current without restriction. This gives your components the ability to reach their full potential, to be more resolving, powerful, dynamic with gorgeous tonal color.
