The Ultra II v2 follows in the footsteps of the mighty Stillpoints Ultra 6, incorporating the use of technology pockets on opposing sides of the isolator. The Ultra II is the first product to support the Stillpoints Version 2 filter and it is the only product that built using solely the Version 2 filter, there is no Version 1 of the Ultra II.
The Ultra II v2 features opposing technology "pockets", which makes this device very similar in structure to the mighty Ultra 6 v2! Essentially, the Ultra II v2 performs like a stacked pair of Ultra SS footers, one placed on top of the other!
The taller structure of the Ultra II v2 was initially intended for isolating turntables, which tend to require taller feet than most components. Experimentation with other devices soon demonstrated that the Ultra II V2 is exceptionally adept at removing vibration from a wide range of components, both analog and digital. With Ultra 6 levels of performance in a lighter and more compact form factor, sliding Ultra II V2s under any component delivers a jaw-dropping improvement in every parameter of performance.
Whether used free-standing as an isolation footer under a component or bolted to a Stillpoints rack for increased isolation, Ultra II is a highly effective footer! Reducing noise, widening dynamic range, refining tonal balance and greatly improving imaging.
NOTE: The Ultra II is not recommended for use under loudspeakers due to the small 6/32” screws holding the pad to the body.

The Ultra II is available in two configurations, with the sole difference being the top pad used; one is smooth, the other is threaded. Both versions may be attached to a Stillpoints rack or their component racks via the 1/4"-20 threads in the base. However, if Ultra II is not being bolted to one used free standing, we highly recommend adding Ultra Bases as shown in our photos for far greater stability.
Ultra II Standard:
This model features a flat and smooth Ultra 6 pad on top, making it ideal for placement directly under the chassis of a component, allowing ideal mechanical transfer of energy.
Ultra II ¼-20:
This model has a ¼-20 threaded pad on top and bottom. This allows the Ultra II to be affixed to a component via the top pad (using an appropriately sized adapter) and then also used with an Ultra Base or connected directly to a Stillpoints rack as with the standard model.
The Ultra Base shown in these pictures, but sold separately contributes an approximate 25% boost to performance. Stillpoints states (and we agree) that an Ultra Base should be used with every Ultra II V2. The sole exception is if the Ultra II v2 is used in one of their Component Stands or an ESS rack.
