The Takshaka speaker cables are built around a simple idea. Use the best pure precious metals available. Combine them deliberately. Keep the signal surrounded by air. Control noise without choking dynamics.

Pure silver, pure 24k gold, and high-purity OFHC copper each bring different strengths. Silver favors speed, articulation, and low-level detail. Gold adds density, body, and tonal richness. Copper provides weight, drive, and foundation. Used without intent, those traits can fight each other. Used correctly, they work together.

Takshaka uses multiple strand sizes and carefully chosen metal ratios to balance these characteristics without forcing a particular sound. Nothing is exaggerated. Nothing is softened to hide problems. The goal is clarity, scale, and natural musical flow.

The conductors are arranged using Snake River Audio's proprietary Eddie Twist™ geometry. This maximizes the air dielectric while maintaining mechanical stability along the entire length of the cable.  Air is the best dielectric available. Preserving it around the conductors reduces energy storage and allows transients to rise and decay naturally.

The Hanging Faraday™ shielding protects the signal and helps create an exceptionally black background.

The goal is not to impress in the first thirty seconds, though it quite often does. But as you’ll find out, the longer you listen, the more you hear. More resolution. More space. More breath. Just … more.

The result is immediate engagement, natural dynamics, and a presentation that feels powerful, unforced, musical, and crystal clear. In short, it’s “D: All the Above.”

The Takshaka in One Word? .. “More”
More resolution.
More space.
More punch.
More breath.
More soul.
Just … more.

Eddie Twist™ Construction
All of their high-current speaker and power cables are built using Snake River Audio's proprietary Eddie Twist™ geometry. It’s a method developed to maximize air around the conductors while maintaining mechanical stability along the entire length of the cable.

The result is immediacy without aggression, weight without thickness, and a midrange so dimensional it feels physically present. Dynamics breathe. Transients snap. Music moves effortlessly from silence into life.

Below is a photo of an actual Takshaka conductor strand. You can clearly see the multiple wire sizes working together, along with the intentional air gaps that are central to the Eddie Twist design.

Bi-Wire Design. Optimized, Not Duplicated
If a loudspeaker manufacturer designs a speaker to be bi-wireable, it is because the speaker is designed to benefit from being fed that way. The high-frequency and low-frequency sections of the speaker benefit from being fed independently. Those sections do not have the same electrical or mechanical demands.

Tweeters favor speed, low noise, and fine detail. Woofers demand current, control, and grip. Feeding both with the same wire recipe is functional, but it leaves performance on the table.

Many bi-wire speaker cables on the market today are simply two identical cables joined at the amplifier end. That defeats the whole point of bi-wiring.

Snake River Audio's bi-wire designs are different.
While all conductors maintain their combination of the highest-quality precious metals of pure gold, silver, and copper, each leg of a Takshaka bi-wire speaker cable is engineered specifically for the section of the speaker it feeds. The conductors, strand sizes, and metal ratios are chosen intentionally, not just doubled up into two pairs of the same thing.

The high-frequency leg leans a little heavier on the gold and uses a conductor recipe biased toward refinement and tonal density, supporting clarity and harmonic richness without edge or glare. The low-frequency leg leans more on the silver and emphasizes current delivery and control, helping bass notes start and stop cleanly with weight and authority, without bloat.

The Takshaka applies this design philosophy with greater conductor mass, four distinct strand sizes, a newly developed Eddie Twist™ geometry, and Hanging Faraday™ shielding. These choices allow the cable to remain stable and composed as system demands increase.

Meanwhile, for those who cannot bi-wire, the straight-wire Takshaka delivers the full design intent of the cable and performs exceptionally well in single-input speakers.

Shielded Without Sacrifice. The Hanging Faraday™ Design
Every Takshaka speaker cable incorporates Snake River Audio's exclusive Hanging Faraday™ shielding concept. A design that protects the signal without affecting the signal.

By floating the shield and grounding it only at the source end, interference is safely shunted away without adding capacitance or contaminating the return path. The result is a quieter background, greater contrast, and preserved transient integrity.

This is shielding designed specifically for high-resolution audio systems. Think of it as a Faraday cage: the shield protects without interfering, preserving pristine signal flow and preventing noise leakage into other nearby components.
