Bamboo Shelves
Quadraspire's SVT elegantly vented shelves are made from solid bamboo ply, a material renowned for strength and excellent vibration control, plus it's carbon neutral, renewable and sustainable. Bamboo is unique in its nature and is thus subject to variation in grain and color. While Quadrapsire makes every effort to ensure consistency in the representation of the bamboo finishes in the photographs here, please be aware that there may be natural variations between these and the actual product.

Bamboo, like Wood, is a natural product which responds to variations in humidity and temperature by expanding and contracting. Sometimes these changes may be noticeable in the form of small movements or open grain. This is a natural occurrence within the natural fibers of a product and does not affect the sonic performance of your rack.

Aluminum Columns (aka posts)
 The SVT columns and feet are made from solid aluminum, not tubular, allowing them to dissipate energy quickly for superior noise reduction.

No Parallel Lines
Quadraspire goes out of their way to avoid standing waves by eliminating parallel lines within their designs. This greatly reduces resonance and improves focus and drive.

Optional Bronze Fixtures
Bronze is a metal prized for its glorious and rich sonic signature, providing a more natural tonal balance and more realistic imaging and soundstaging.

QX7 Heavy Duty Floor Protectors are designed to support the heavier weight of high-performance racks and speakers. These shoes are machined from stainless steel and space age polymer to effectively dissipate vibration. Machined in the shape of Quadraspire racks and engineered to improve sonic performance.

QX7 Footers provide near limitless load-bearing capacity and are an excellent finishing touch for any system.

Bronze has a rich, sonorous tone. Quadraspire's research and design found that bronze is a fantastic materials for reducing resonance in their shelves, so they developed a bronze upgrade path for all of their HiFi racks.

Implementing the SV Bronze hardware upgrade for the top-shelf opens up the soundstage and provides far greater resonance control for the source component. This is an excellent and effective upgrade for any SVT rack.  SV Bronze hardware is carefully machined to avoid parallel lines, in the same way that many musical instruments are designed to avoid internal resonances.

Max Capacity: No practical limit, but 8 shelves with a max height of 60" is the highest we can safely recommend. Anything taller should use wall anchors, however, use your best judgment.
