During development of their flagship SRX XL AC cable, Synergistic realized that what they'd learned could be applied to signal cables and thus the SRX XL interconnects and speaker cables were born. SRX XL delivers a high-water mark for sonic performance and surprisingly doesn’t compromise on flexibility.

For SRX XL, Synergistic started with a phenomenal platform; their reference SRX design. Then they scaled up the number of conductors, implemented new shielding techniques, and developed a new Quantum Tunneling high-voltage treatment! The result is a jaw-dropping improvement in every aspect of performance, greater power, refinement and resolution, without a hint of fatigue.

More Air Strings to tug on your heartstrings
While voicing the SRX XL, Synergistic discovered that this new form factor could support a larger, more  complicated geometry with a greater number of conductors than previously imagined. The SRX XL geometry allows a substantial increase in Synergistic's use of their 99.9995% Pure Silver Air Strings. In doing so, music is given greater immediacy, intimacy and purity, pulling you deeper into every recording. This new geometry also yields higher resolution, improved dynamic range and increased transient response. To put this a different way, the music grabs a hold of you and doesn't let go, this is a truly thrilling experience!

SRX XL Matrix Shielding
Building on the highly effective Matrix shielding featured in other Synergistic products, SRX XL gets an updated and much revised variation of this tech. This entirely new application of UEF tech drops the cable’s noise floor even further. This new tech also minimizes the sonic penalty which would otherwise be imposed by the substantial shielding of this cable. The SRX XL Matrix shielding technique is what allows this cable to build such a profoundly deep, wide and holographic reproduction of the soundstage.

SRX XL High Voltage Conditioning
Synergistic pioneered the use of high-voltage treatments on audio cables over a decade ago. Using a Tesla Coil, Synergistic sends a million volts through all their audio cables and the improvement is nothing short of profound. That being said, SRX XL presented a unique challenge. The high strand count, complex geometry and large-gauge meant that their usual conditioning processes weren't providing the expected results. Synergistic went back to the drawing board and developed a new conditioning regimen specifically for this series.  SRX XL receives an extended duration sweep with varying frequency plots and modifications to the conditioning process that quite literally restructures the molecular alignment of the metal within the cable, creating a "lower friction" pathway for the signal. Signal now flows more freely, giving SRX XL its effortless ability to reproduce music exactly as it was played. From the softest whisper to the largest crescendo, every note in the recording is conveyed with the utmost of fidelity.

Originally developed for the SRX series, SRX XL also receives this impressive tech. Tuning Bullets allow the shield of Synergistic cables to be "tuned". Swapping out bullets allows for effortless changes of the cable's sonic characteristics. No matter what your gear or sonic preferences, SRX XL can be tuned to mate perfectly. Each pair of SRX XL speaker cables receives 4 each Master Bullets and 4 each SRX Gold bullets.

• SRX XL Quantum Tunneling: After the cable is completely assembled all connections and cabling are treated with 1,000,000 volts of electricity at specific frequencies and pulse modulations, creating a canal in the conductor material and contact points at the molecular level that allows electrons to flow more freely. After the cable is completely assembled, all of the connections and wiring are treated with Synergistic's proprietary Quantum Tunneling program. Using a Tesla coil, SR applies 1,000,000 volts of electricity at very specific frequencies and pulse modulations. This treatment affects the cable at a molecular level, realigning the metals themselves to create a low-resistance pathway in the conductor material, which allows the the signal to flow more freely. This ensures that every note, every beat, every heartbeat of information in the recording is conveyed for maximum realism.
