Synergistic has scaled their hand-made air-dielectric pure silver geometries for headphone applications, optimizing conductor count and cable flexibility to ensure exceptional comfort during extended listening sessions without compromising the resolution and dynamics that define the SRX XL series. Synergistic's all-new UEF compound is applied to advanced matrix shielding, further lowering the noise floor while lessening restraints a shield may have on signal transmission. Each cable is then run through their most advanced high voltage conditioning process, resulting in a headphone cable that sounds more open, accurate, and musically engaging than anything they’ve previously created. While voicing the SRX XL Headphone Cable, Synergistic developed more comprehensive cable geometries with additional 99.9995% Pure Silver Air Strings optimized for the unique demands of headphone signal transmission. In doing so, music is portrayed with more immediacy and resolution, improving upon dynamics and transient response in a completely non-fatiguing way. The result is a headphone cable that reveals layers of inner detail and spatial information with a naturalness and ease that makes extended listening sessions not just comfortable, but captivating.

UEF Matrix Shield with Graphene - SRX XL Matrix Shielding
In their journey to design their latest flagship SRX XL series, Synergistic Research developed an entirely new UEF compound to elevate the performance of their previous Matrix Shielding, which further lowers each cable’s noise floor while lessening restraints a shield may have on signal transmission. They apply this highest level of shielding to the SRX XL Headphone Cable for a significant jump in performance over previous headphone cables. For headphone listening, where every nuance is magnified by the proximity of the drivers to your ears, this dramatically lower noise floor reveals micro-dynamics and ambient detail that lesser cables simply mask. Gold and Master Tuning Bullets developed for the SRX series further refine and enhance the cable’s ability to cancel noise that would otherwise cause high frequencies to sound harsh or fatiguing.

SRX + Master Carbon Cable Tuning Modules - Redefining Refinement
SRX XL Headphone Cables come standard with the most potent and musical SRX Master and Gold carbon fiber UEF Tuning Bullets in their company’s 30-year history. The bullets are specially voiced for the SRX cable series so you can strike the perfect balance between detail and musicality for your headphone system. Both Gold and Master bullets are handcrafted in Synergistic Research's Southern California Factory from carbon fiber and aircraft aluminum, with the Gold bullet plated in 24k gold not only for aesthetic beauty but also to help voice the bullet to its intended role as the most musical option for specific systems. To use SRX Carbon Fiber Tuning Modules, allow your SRX XL Headphone Cable to settle into your system for 48–72 hours, and then experiment with your two options. Start by inserting a Gold Bullet and then compare to the Master option and select the variant that makes music in your system. Gold Bullets have a warm and liquid balance that is also more open and transparent than their other warm-biased tuning bullets. While Master is more extended and detailed, the option that will work best and sound neutral is totally system dependent. Note, UEF Tuning Bullets work 100% outside the signal path!

Headphone connections demand precision. Each SRX XL Headphone Cable is built with custom-terminated connectors, ensuring maximum contact area and signal integrity at the most critical junction between cable and transducer. Input connections are available in Stereo 3.5mm, 1/4″ TRS, Stereo XLR, and Discrete XLR configurations to match your headphone amplifier. All connectors benefit from Synergistic's UEF treatment with Graphene, significantly reducing the noise floor at each connection point and allowing a purer signal to transfer with less grain, providing more warmth and detail.

Quantum Tunneling - SRX XL High Voltage Conditioning
The new SRX XL High Voltage Conditioning is Synergistic's most advanced process for treating cables with 1,000,000 volts of electricity at specific frequencies and pulse modulations for long durations, creating a canal in the conductor material and contact points at the molecular level that allows electrons to flow more freely. This new process improves upon the SRX High Voltage Conditioning process by employing new extended duration sweeping frequency plots and advancements to their Tesla Coil, resulting in an SRX XL Headphone Cable that sounds even more open and accurate than any headphone cable before it.
