The "contractor grade" outlets found in the walls of most listening rooms were never designed for audio. Built in enormous quantities from the cheapest materials, these so-called generic outlets are sold for just a couple of bucks a piece! These outlets are quite literally the cheapest piece that can do the job of powering a lamp. Or a phone charger. They were never intended for the demands of an audio system, so they become a bottleneck, choking your system's capabilities!

Upgrading to Power Path unlocks the performance you've been missing. Designed specifically from the ground up for the demands of an audio system, this high quality outlet allows your system to finally fill its lungs and breathe freely. Power Path is slightly wider and deeper than a generic outlet, yet still fits in virtually all standard electrical boxes and uses the same faceplate as a normal outlet. Like all modern outlets, there are two ways to connect the AC wires from the wall. You can inserted them into the rear of the outlet and use the chassis screws, or for the old-school electricians among us, you can also bend your wire into a hook using the screw terminals on the side of the outlet.

Please note, to keep the price down, Power Path doesn't come with any hardware or a faceplate. Simply reuse the hardware from your existing outlet!

Pro-Tip!
Power Path was built to support heavy power cords. High clamping force and a sturdy chassis ensure optimum conductivity at all times! Even with that, we still recommend that you install the Power Path upside down, with the ground pins at the top. This is a very old installer's "hack" which leverages the strength of that robust ground pin to hold the cable in place, allowing the two current-carrying pins to do their work without mechanical strain.
