The SRX PowerCell 14 features the exact same electromagnetic core as the one featured in Synergistic's flagship SRX PowerCell. This is no scaled-down version. Hasn't been "re-voiced". Hasn't been simplified.  Nor has it been compromised. The SRX PowerCell 14 is a full-field stabilization platform - engineered to eliminate electromagnetic collapse, not simply mask it.

At the heart of the SRX PowerCell 14 are seven full-sized SRX Electromagnetic Cells as well as a single dedicated "fillet cell" which conditions the operating field for the EM Cells, each of which is hand-built, with an air-dielectric and precision-encased in carbon fiber. The SRX PowerCell 14 features a total EM coupling area of 7,586 cm² using cells which are five times larger than those employed in the standard PowerCell 14. These cells also feature identical geometry, materials, and UEF compounds as the flagship SRX PowerCell model delivering unprecedented dynamics across the entire frequency spectrum, a dramatically lower noise floor, and holographic realism which redefines what’s possible from power conditioning.

These remarkable EM Cells perform a dual function, providing unparalleled electromagnetic field stabilization and also serving as massive supercapacitors. This critical capability allows the SRX PowerCell 14 to store and deliver peak current which surpasses what any standard 20A wall circuit can provide, enabling even the most power-hungry amplifiers to generate heightened dynamics and high-precision leading-edge transients.

14 Fully Isolated Outlets, because implementation is as crucial as raw power
The SRX PowerCell 14 distributes its seven immense EM Cells across three separate, isolated banks of Pink Quantum Outlets — along with two 5v LPS USB outputs are also available to power FEQs, Atmospheres, or other accessories you may have — ensuring complete isolation between digital, analog, and high-current components. Each of the isolated outlets is star-grounded using pure-silver internal wiring, with conductors identical to those found in the SRX loom of cables. This sophisticated architecture eliminates cross-contamination between different types of equipment, preserving the purity of the signal path from source to amplification while ensuring every component receives the purest, most dynamically unrestricted power possible.

Pure Silver Internal Wiring
The SRX PowerCell 14 is capable of delivering well over 20A of instantaneous current. In order to assure this exceptional performance 30 Ft of ultra-pure 6N Silver wire is point-to-point soldered within the unit. That's nearly a pound of silver, just in the wiring alone!

Re-engineered ULF and DC Biasing
Ultra-Low Frequency generation (aka ULF), in its most basic principle, is how Synergistic ‘reclocks’ the music, The ULF circuit generates the Schumann Resonance, an ultra-low frequency which passively addresses and filters out ambient RF and extreme high frequency noise which would otherwise degrade sound. The SRX PowerCell 14 utilizes the SRX PowerCell’s power supply and ULF Field Generator.

Synergistic reformulated their Ultra Low-Frequency RF bias circuit based on info gleaned from development of the SRX PowerCell and Voodoo streamer/server. This has changed their understanding of the following parameters:

• Improved bias control of the ULF module
• Next generation power supply improves efficiency of EM cells
• Improved integration of ULF and DC bias into EM cells
• New 24k Gold UEF tuning circuits for greater harmonic richness and enhanced musicality

With these advancements, Synergistic is able to precisely control the phase points between the frequencies used for bias. When selecting between the biases on the SRX PowerCell 14, these reflect SR’s most current understanding of ULF treatment and deliver a more favorable, welcoming response to your music.

Three Bias Frequencies for one perfect sound
The SRX PowerCell 14 offers three different bias frequencies, each one optimized for a different presentation. Switch on the fly or simply select your favorite setting and let the music flow.

Blue: This is the default option and offers a laid-back midrange, with a linear transition of notes from low frequencies to midrange to highs, creating a large and enveloping soundstage

Green: The midrange is slightly more forward compared to the Blue option, with a bit more bass emphasis creating a rounder, more of a classic vacuum tube sound.

Red: Convincingly portray large-scale performances. This works exceptionally well for live performances, large orchestral works as well as electronic music.

Grounding, Elevated
The internal power supply and ULF Generator included in the SRX PowerCell 14 are further enhanced with a UEF Ground Plane first developed for the Galileo SX PowerCell to lower the noise floor and increase soundstaging. The system is ULF phase-entrained, DC-biased, and ground-referenced through our Active Ground Block ecosystem for complete field stabilization.

To take this performance to a higher level still, there is the option to ground the SRX PowerCell 14 to any Synergistic Active Ground Block, which improves low-frequency weight and attack as it lowers the noise floor further still without sacrificing one of the duplexes, so you have the full 14 outlets to filter all components in your system without loss of current.

Form Elevates Function
Compared to the larger SRX PowerCell, the SRX PowerCell 14 chassis is a compact, purpose-built design. This smaller form factor accommodates space considerations while still delivering reference performance in a chassis which is mechanically and electromagnetically voiced. Machined from aircraft-grade aluminum, carbon fiber and plexiglass, its design strategically dampens and directs mechanical resonance from the ambient environment, the energy created by your speakers and how that feeds back into the circuit, and the vibrations generated by the transformers in the unit. The material makeup, physical size, and windows into the unit optimize the efficiency and directivity of the electromagnetic fields generated by the EM cells to bring sound as close to life as possible.

9 Lighting options
Change the color and intensity of the light which illuminates both the front amp meter and the top circuit view window. Select between Galileo White, Synergistic Research Blue, Dante Red, and McIntosh Blue to match its lighting to the other components in your system. And if you prefer no light at all you can even choose to be boring! It’s all up to you.
