Max T is the foundational post in Entreq's Max range, designed to work with the Corepoint units supplied with every Delphius and Primer Core cable, and equally with Entreq ground boxes. Containing a specific configuration of materials built around Tungsten, Max T is the principle behind every Max post made concrete — the first and most versatile of its kind.

What a Max post does
Entreq Max posts are designed to influence the electromagnetic behaviour at the reference point of a Corepoint unit or a ground box. Every Max post contains a specific configuration of materials, housed in a wooden body, whose combination of diamagnetic, paramagnetic and ferromagnetic properties acts upon the electromagnetic field at the reference point. The result is a significant change in the performance of the cable or box to which the Max post is attached — and a way of refining that performance to suit the system, the room and the listener.

Tungsten at the heart of Max T
Max T takes Tungsten as its principal active material. A dense, high-melting-point metal with distinctive magnetic and electrical properties, Tungsten has become one of Entreq’s defining materials, used across their most respected ground boxes and at the heart of their Max post range. Where Max T is applied, Tungsten’s particular contribution to detail, to depth, to the sense of weight and dimension in the music becomes apparent throughout the system to which the host product is connected.

A simple, open-ended architecture
Every Entreq Corepoint unit and every Entreq ground box includes a threaded post supplied with a plain wooden cap as standard. To fit Max T, simply unscrew the standard wooden cap and screw the Max T post in its place, securing the ERS wire or grounding cable to the host product as it goes. The change in performance is immediately apparent. Because every Corepoint and ground box shares the same threaded post, any Max post can be tried, swapped or upgraded at any time. The architecture is open-ended by design.

Hand-built in Sweden
Max T is hand-built at Entreq's facility in Sweden. Each post houses its specific configuration of materials in a wooden body – wood chosen for its electromagnetic neutrality, allowing the active materials inside the post to do their work without interference from the housing itself. The Tungsten configuration in Max T has been developed and refined through extensive testing on their own reference system.

Use with Corepoint Ground Boxes and Tuss Kit
Max T is suitable for use with the Corepoint units supplied with Delphius and Primer Core cables, with Entreq ground boxes including older models that may have been part of your system for years, and with their Tuss Kit. In all applications, the effect is the same: an audible refinement of the host product’s performance, bringing the qualities Tungsten contributes into the system to which it is connected.

For Corepoint use, Max T screws onto the threaded post of a Corepoint Signal or Corepoint Power unit. For ground box use, Max T screws onto any of Entreq’s standard ground box binding posts.

Part of the Entreq system
Max T is at its best as part of a properly prepared system. Entreq grounding, Magneus at the entry points, and Protectus, Vibbeaters and MaxMix T2 shaping the field around your components all make the next step more effective. Used together, as a coherent system, Entreq products let your components deliver everything they are capable of.
