The HP-5.2 is Gold Note's latest high-end headphone amplifier, engineered for the most demanding audiophiles. It features a balanced Dual-Mono Class A design that ensures signal purity and delivers exceptional audio fidelity. A touchscreen display ensures quick adjustments and an intuitive user experience. Perfect for all high-end systems, the HP-5.2 boasts advanced tools such as Crossfeed (for soundstage reconstruction), Harman option (to optimize headphone listening), variable gain and damping factor, and mono/stereo selection. It functions as a traditional amplifier with analog inputs/outputs while integrating Bluetooth 5.2 HD aptX, USB-C, and a SABRE ES9023 DAC.

The HP-5.2 offers flexible control via the included remote and the touchscreen display, ensuring a superior user experience. With the remote, you can adjust any setting from the comfort of your listening position without interruption.

BYPASS
Designed for systems that include a preamplifier, the bypass function allows you to integrate the HP-5.2 without altering your existing wiring. This lets you seamlessly switch between the HP-5.2 and your preamp for loudspeaker listening.

Bypass mode is automatically activated by selecting one of the four headphone outputs (excluding the REAR output) and placing the unit into standby (indicated by the red LED). You can enter standby by pressing the power button on the remote or holding the display for three seconds.

Please note: For the bypass to function correctly, the source and preamplifier connected to the HP-5.2 must utilize the same connection type (RCA or XLR).

• Crossfeed: Blends L/R channels to recreate a soundstage similar to listening through loudspeakers.
• Harman: Optimizes equalization specifically for headphone acoustics.
• Superflat: Linearizes the frequency response in the high range.
• DF (Damping Factor): Adjusts the damping factor to perfectly match the impedance of your headphones.

The Balance function offers precise volume control over Left/Right channels, allowing you to manage output according to your hearing needs or specific driver characteristics.

The HP-5.2 is equipped with balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA) inputs, plus Bluetooth 5.2 HD aptX and a USB-C digital input. These digital connections allow for direct streaming from smartphones, tablets, or computers.

A wide array of outputs ensures compatibility with your favorite headphones. The front panel features unbalanced (3.5mm, 6.3mm) and balanced (4.4mm, XLR) connectors. You can also connect Bluetooth headphones seamlessly via the touchscreen display.

Furthermore, by selecting the RCA/XLR line outputs, the HP-5.2 functions as a line preamplifier, retaining the ability to apply all Studio settings to your main system. Finally, for maximum flexibility, both stereo and mono playback modes are supported.

PSX-5.2 is an evolution of the PSU-5: it retains Gold Note’s DNA in terms of silence, control and musicality, introducing targeted improvements to the mechanical structure, power supply and, above all, versatility of use, to further enhance performance and user experience.

Designed specifically as an external power supply dedicated to the 5.2 series, it is the perfect upgrade to improve the performance of your system and enjoy flawless listening sessions. A distinctive feature of this model is the new black anodised aluminium chassis: a technical solution that reduces interaction with magnetic fields, resulting in superior background silence and greater richness of micro details.

This structural purity is reinforced by a more stable, higher-current power supply engineered to deliver absolute control and extremely low noise under every operating condition. The result is a darker background, greater dynamic authority and a more solid, stable soundstage.

Thanks to its dual-output architecture, PSX-5.2 allows both a phono stage (PH-5 or PH-5.2) and a line-level source (CD-5, CD-5.2, HP-5.2 or DS-5.2) to remain permanently connected, elevating the entire front-end to a new level of performance.
