Headphone Optimized Transducer (HOT)
Synergistic Research developed the Headphone Optimized Transducer (HOT) specifically for high-performance headphone lovers. Consuming no power and not even in the signal path, this in-line, entirely passive device leverages Synergistic's proprietary UEF tech to dramatically improve the music you hear through your headphones.
The first and most obvious improvement is how the HOT pulls the sound out of your head, allowing the headphones to develop a properly holographic soundstage. The top-end becomes crystal clear, silky-smooth and very extended without a hint of grain or etch. Voices and instruments become more present, with greater body and physicality. Bass frequencies are tight, clean and extended.
HOT is fitted with a high-quality 6.3mm (1/4”) male plug at the amp end and a matching 6.3mm (1/4”) female plug at the headphone end. The HOT starts working immediately upon being powered on, but like all UEF tech products, it will take about 15 mins to settle down and a few hours of actual play time to reach full potency.
