A refined finishing touch for GAIA Neo installations
The GAIA Neo Cap is a decorative and functional accessory designed for use with GAIA Neo isolators. In some installations, the O-ring or compression washer may remain partially visible after the isolator has been installed.
In other cases, the speaker or audio component may provide limited surface area for the compression washer to make proper contact during installation.
The GAIA Neo Cap provides a clean aesthetic finish around the top of the GAIA Neo isolator while also helping to improve contact in limited-surface applications. The result is a more refined, integrated installation that maintains the performance benefits of IsoAcoustics isolation.
Designed to solve installation challenges
- Cleaner finished look: Covers exposed installation details such as the O-ring area, compression washer, or exposed inlet for a more polished appearance.
- Improved contact for limited surfaces: The compression washer is installed inside the GAIA Neo Cap, ensuring proper contact with the isolator when the installation surface has limited contact area.
- Pairs with the GAIA Neo M8 Spacer: For compatible Sonus faber speakers, the GAIA Neo M8 Spacer and GAIA Neo Cap can be used together to improve the finished look of the installation.
- Install the correct thread adapter and remove O-ring
- Position the compression washer inside the GAIA Neo Cap
- Position the GAIA Neo Cap with the compression washer on the GAIA Neo, inside the O-ring channel
- Install GAIA Neo with Neo Cap into final position
- Compatible Threads Sizes: The inside hole diameter of the GAIA Neo Cap is 12.5 mm (1/2″). The Cap is compatible with M12, 1/2″, and smaller thread sizes.
- Thread Length
The GAIA Neo Cap slightly reduces the available thread length between the GAIA Neo and the speaker. Longer GAIA Neo thread adapters are available when additional thread engagement is required. For most installations using the GAIA Neo Cap, the GAIA Neo x20 thread adapters are recommended.
