Inheriting the sound quality of Phasemation’s higher-end models, the EA-1500 phono amplifier supports balanced inputs and outputs and is compatible with optical cartridges. Engineered to extract the fullest performance from any cartridge, it incorporates many technologies refined in the flagship EA-2000.

Its new dual-chassis design separates the power supply from the amplifier, integrating the latest advancements while supporting MC, MM, and optical cartridges. The EA-1500 faithfully unveils the true potential of cartridges from around the world.

• Best-in-Class Sound Quality with EA-2000 Technologies:  The EA-1500 embodies decades of Phasemation expertise, inheriting key technologies from the flagship EA-2000. Advanced features such as the LCR-type circuit and shielded, floating transformer structures contribute directly to its refined and highly expressive sound.
• High-Speed Vacuum Tube Amplifier with Non-NFB Design:  Operating at high voltage, the EA-1500’s vacuum tube amplifier delivers an exceptionally wide dynamic range. By eliminating negative feedback (NFB), it achieves faster, more responsive, and highly natural sound reproduction.
• Step-Up Transformer for MC Cartridges:  The EA-1500 features a newly redesigned step-up transformer, based on the EA-1200 model, with carefully refined windings to ensure optimal performance with any MC cartridge. The transformer employs Phasemation’s highly regarded PC-Triple C wire, delivering enhanced signal fidelity and musical detail.
• Compatible with the Latest Optical Cartridges, including DS Audio:  While maintaining excellent synergy with Phasemation cartridges, the EA-1500 now also supports modern optical cartridges for the first time. A dedicated power transformer provides stable power to optical cartridges without affecting the phono amplifier, though it does not require a separate power connection. An XLR input allows optical cartridges to connect easily, and unbalanced outputs can be used via a conventional MC balanced analog cable.
• Separate Chassis with Clean Power Supply:  The EA-1500’s power supply is housed in its own full-size chassis, mirroring the phono amplifier section. Inside, two independent power transformers provide dedicated power to the left and right channels. A 5U4GB vacuum tube rectifier delivers exceptionally clean power, free from switching noise typical of semiconductor rectifiers, ensuring high-quality, stable performance.
• Balanced and Unbalanced Connectivity:  Equipped with two inputs and one output, the EA-1500 supports both balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA) connections. High-quality NEUTRIK XLR connectors and gold-plated RCA terminals ensure superior signal transfer. Both balanced and unbalanced outputs can be used simultaneously.
• Mechanically Tuned for Pure Sound:  The top cover and mechanical components, including the feet, are carefully selected and tuned to optimize sound. Hybrid insulators made from different metals suppress vibration effectively, while the 1.6 mm-thick top cover features a low-dielectric coating to minimize magnetic distortion, delivering a natural and pure sonic experience.
