The IS-1000 MkII combines a powerful Class-A/B integrated amp, a Hi-End DAC and a high-resolution Streamer into a single device. The Deluxe version even includes a high-quality MM/MC phono preamplifier! 

Amplification
The AB class amplifier delivers 125W @ 8Ω ensuring plenty of smooth, clean, and pure power, with vivid dynamics and the ability to reproduce every detail in your recordings. The IS-1000 MkII offers a full set of digital and analogue inputs to ensure optimal compatibility and the freedom to connect all your devices. With the IS-1000 MkII and a great pair of speakers, it is finally possible to enjoy fully high-definition recordings from a single box.

Easy to Use
IS-1000 is designed to be plug & play and is even fully compatible with multi-room systems. Designed for high-resolution streaming via Roon, Airplay, Tidal, MQA, Qobuz, Spotify, vTuner and Deezer, the IS-1000 MkII can be controlled from a smartphone or tablet, through the proprietary "GN Control" app, which is available to download for free for either iOS or Android.

Further Compatibility
The IS-1000 MkII will also accept connections to either a NAS or USB jump drives. There are both RCA and XLR inputs, allowing for connection to any analog source. There are Fixed analog outputs (RCA, Pr) for connecting up an outboard headphone amp or recording device, as well as a pair of Variable analog outputs (RCA, Pr) which track the volume control. The Variable outputs can be used to connect an external power amp or subwoofer(s).

On paper both models are very similar. In fact, the preamp and amplifier sections are identical. DAC inputs and functions are identical. Even the quantity and types of analog inputs and outputs are the same. The differences between the two models comes down to which DAC chipset is implemented and whether or not the unit has an MM/MC phono preamp installed.

Line Model
This version is the core upon which the Deluxe model is based. There's no phono preamp, so both unbalanced inputs (RCA 1 & 2) are available for your choice of analog input. The Line model's onboard DAC receives the sweet sounding and very musical Burr-Brown 1796 chipset, which is capable of 24/192 resolution over Coax or Optical and DSD64 resolution via USB!

Deluxe Model
This variant features the same Amp and Preamp sections as the Line model, but receives a  very high quality MM/MC phono preamp (on RCA 1) derived from the lovely and award-winning Gold Note PH-10. The DAC chipset is upgraded to the more linear and higher resolution Burr-Brown 1792A, which is also capable of 24/192 resolution over Coax or Optical and DSD64 resolution via USB!

ROON READY
Being Roon Ready means that Gold Note uses Roon streaming technology, for an incredible user interface, simple setup, rock-solid daily reliability, and the highest levels of audio performance, without compromise.

TIDAL CONNECT (From S/N 79486 onwards)
With Tidal Connect you can stream music to your IS-1000 MkII directly from the Tidal app (available on iOS and Android).

Please Note – Units produced before serial number 79486 do not include Tidal Connect. It is however possible to implement the necessary hardware and software as an optional feature. Please contact us for more details, we will require the serial number of your unit.

AUDIRVĀNA
Plays with Audirvāna products are certified to play music from Audirvāna over USB or network with the best level of integration and audio performance.

QOBUZ CONNECT
With Qobuz Connect you can stream music to your IS-1000 MkII directly from the Qobuz app (available on iOS and Android).
