The innovative (Alpha) PC-Triple C power cable used in the Empire Plus is the result of a proprietary forging process involving repeated rounds of metal folding—the same traditional technique once used to forge the katana, the sword of the Samurai.

This art of metalwork has been refined by Furutech using variable high pressures applied to high-purity oxygen-free copper, creating a forging process equivalent to folding steel tens of thousands of times. This realigns the crystal grain boundaries within the copper, allowing electrical current to flow with unmatched smoothness and efficiency.
