Nordost’s White Lightning range is the entry-level product line in the Leif family. White Lightning interconnects and speaker cables employ Nordost’s core cable design of silver-plated, solid core conductors in conjunction with an innovative FEP extrusion process to bring a level of sophistication and dimension to even the most basic set-up.

White Lightning Analog Interconnect is a fully-shielded design that can be terminated for balanced or single-ended connection. White Lightning employs four 26 AWG silver-plated 99.9999% OFC solid core conductors, precision wound in a minimum cross-section configuration which eliminates unnecessary fillers or padding elements.

The Insulation is high-grade FEP, selected for its superior dielectric performance, while the elegant minimalism extends to the carefully selected low-mass connectors and differential grounding. Like all Nordost cables, White Lightning is manufactured and hand-terminated in the USA, enabling a further guarantee of consistent performance. The result is a high-speed, low-loss interconnect which preserves the sense of musical power and momentum, creating a new performance benchmark at this price level.

Leif  Series 2 cables are constructed using silver-plated, OFC solid core conductors, which form the basis of Nordost’s great sound. The conductors are then treated with Nordost’s innovative precision FEP extrusion process, where each conductor is individually enclosed in FEP insulation. This technique greatly reduces the dielectric properties of the cables in order to increase signal speeds and accuracy in signal transfer.

To build upon this foundation, Leif Series 2 cables are designed with a mechanically tuned construction that optimizes the dimensions and spacing of conductors to reduce dielectric effects even further.
