The VooDoo Silverstream High-Speed HDMI 2.2e is built to meet the newest international HDMI interface standards. With the 2.2 spec, you get support for today’s highest video resolutions—up to 4K x 2K (3840 x 2160p at 24/25/30Hz and 4096 x 2160p at 24Hz), the same projection quality used in commercial digital theaters.
This cable also includes an Ethernet channel for up to 100 Mbps direct data transfer between connected devices. Video bandwidth is 3.4 Gbps per channel, or 10.2 Gbps total. On the audio side, it handles stereo PCM at 16-, 20-, and 24-bit depth with sample rates from 32 kHz all the way up to 192 kHz. It also carries any IEC-compliant compressed audio format, including Dolby Digital and DTS, plus up to 8 channels of one-bit DSD at rates up to four times Super Audio CD.
The Audio Return Channel (aka ARC) allows audio from your TV travel “upstream” to an AV receiver or processor, and the 2.2e spec adds support for stereoscopic 3D at full 4K x 2K resolution. For optimum performance, the Silverstream is fully shielded against RF and EM interference.
Finally, the flat cable design makes room for heavy-gauge 24 AWG conductors while keeping the overall body compact and flexible for easy installation.
