C-MARC™ is a new type of Litz wire. C-MARC’s noise reduction is based on the bucking coil method using two counter-polarised coils. Every strand's clockwise turn aligns with a corresponding counter clockwise turn of precisely mirrored diameter and step. The two, resulting counter-polarised coils are mutually superposed. A second-scale fractal replication of the already bucking coils is then repeated. Through electrical cancellation of the induced noise, C-MARC™ provides an enormous signal-to-noise ratio in today's demanding audio environment.

C-MARC™ Classic Construction

• 2 x 12 = 24 strands of combed natural cotton fibre, braided.
• 16 x 12 = 192 strands of enameled copper wire, braided in second scale fractal replication. Individual strand diameter = 0.125mm. Total conductive cross sectional area: 2.304mm².
• 2 x 3 x 16 = 96 strands of gassed and mercerized natural cotton fiber, braided.
• 16 x 12 = 192 strands of enameled copper wire, braided in second scale fractal replication. Individual strand diameter = 0.125mm. Total conductive cross sectional area: 2.304mm².
• Thin-walled, clear membrane of Polyolefin. Provides protection from moisture for long-term performance stability. Clear material provides no sonic signature.
• Outer protective braid woven from 32 thin Polyethylene Terepthalate monofilament yarns. Provides superior abrasion resistance and longevity. Also introduces an air gap between the individually hand-braided polarities.

C-MARC™ Cotton Mercerization Process
Mercerizing changes the physical appearance of the cotton fibre as well as its properties. As it is mercerised, the cotton micro-fibre cross section changes from a kidney bean shape to a rounder shape. The cotton fiber swells. As a result of this structural change, the cotton fibre becomes more open, or amorphous, rather than crystalline.

Mercerized fibre is stronger and displays a smoother appearance. Because the stucture of the fibre has changed, the braided structure reflects light more readily and has more lustre.

C-MARC™ Conductor Aging Process
Stability of performance and maturity of tone is achieved in controlled circumstances through cryogenic processing of the already braided conductors. Computer controlled processes and special high tech refrigeration equipment control the cryogenic aging process which slowly reaches cold temperatures in excess of-180°C. After a cold rest period of approximately a day, the temperature is then carefully raised over several days back to room temperature. This process relaxes inner crystalline tensions created during manufacture of both wire and braid. The result is a more organic and pleasing tone quality, allowing your sound system to convey deeper levels of subtle expression put down on tape by the recording artist.
