The Boomslang AES cable is built entirely from pure silver conductors arranged in our proprietary linear parallel geometry. Unlike traditional digital cables that rely on coaxial construction, the Boomslang separates the signal conductors and controls their spacing through air, minimizing dielectric interaction and preserving the integrity of the transmission path.
Silver was chosen for a reason. Among conductive metals it offers exceptional conductivity and speed, allowing digital edge transitions to remain sharp and precisely defined. When the edges of the digital waveform remain intact, the receiving device can reconstruct timing information with far greater accuracy.
The Boomslang’s linear parallel geometry keeps the conductors suspended with a high percentage of air dielectric. Air stores virtually no energy compared to most insulation materials, which reduces signal smear and helps maintain the correct transmission characteristics for AES digital audio.
The result is a cable that maintains timing stability while allowing the music to emerge with greater clarity and dimensional space. Images become more defined, backgrounds grow quieter, and the presentation opens up without sounding etched or artificial.
