A turntable is only as good as its weakest link! As a matter of principle, Acoustic Signature does not want to call their ‘smallest’ tonear, entry-level . The TA‑500 NEO is simply much too good for that! This is a precisely manufactured, precision-bearing 9 inch tonearm. The precision miniature ball bearings used are from manufacturer SKF. The bearings are installed with minimal pre-pressure for zero backlash, allowing the TA-500 NEO to achieve a minimum friction with maximum stability.
The armtube is a custom-made dual-carbon tube which creates a very rigid structure with high damping and resonance control.
The TA-500 is only available with 5 pin connector and an AudioQuest 5-pin to RCA cable is supplied with the arm.
