The HRS DPX Damping Plate is an ultra-high performance design to eliminate chassis vibration on the world's best components.
The HRS DPX Damping Plate is quite a bit thicker than the DPII Damping Plate, at 1.3" vs 0.7" which thanks to the higher weight and appropriate polymer upgrade provides a much higher level of chassis control. This highly effective design eliminates component chassis noise, peeling away layers of noise and distortion to reveal a whole new level of musical performance. Each Damping Plate is precision manufactured from billet-machined aircraft aluminum and features proprietary HRS polymers.
Each Damping Plate model features its own highly specific combination of mass, stiffness, and damping. This serves to eliminate chassis resonance problems and transform residual chassis energy to small amounts of heat. The Damping Plate concept is a specialized system utilized by audiophiles and industry professionals to be their reference chassis noise reduction system.
