DARK-FIELD mini cable elevators (aka DFE-Minis) are a perfect solution for separating power cords and signal cables from one another, as well as away from electronics. They create valuable distance from AC outlets and power distributors. DFE-minis can help organize a tangle mess of cables, plus they actually optimize performance by minimizing static fields which can be created by the insulation material of the cables.
DFE-minis are also useful to supplement Shunyata's other cable elevators! Use a DFE-mini as an additional spacer to support long cables runs when using the DF-SS or Mobius Supports.
The DFE-mini has a cumulative performance impact when used to separate power cables from audio audio/video system cables. These small, lightweight devices will noticeably improve visual and audible resolution in sound and video systems. The DFE-minis are also an ideal supplement for the DFSS (Dark Field Suspension System) and Mobius. When used together, DarkField minis provide a meaningful improvement to the level of isolation. The DFE-minis have been thoroughly vetted in some of the film and audio industry’s most demanding environments with overwhelming success.
DFE-minis can be used to separate cables behind a rack or in a cabinet to prevent hum and noise. When used to supplement Shunyata's larger form factor cable elevators, DFE-minis can be used with digital cables, interconnects, power cords, even heavy speaker cables!
The patented technology within the DFE-mini is very similar to the original Dark Field cable elevator. Their essential function is to physically isolate cables from one another and from nearby electronics, metals, carpets, wood and other surfaces. This reduces and even mitigates the effects of static fields and EM fields created between power cords, signal cables, speaker cables, components, AC outlets, video devices and various flooring etc. There is an almost endless variety of applications for the DFE-minis in and around any high-performance system.
