Even though the internal power supply of the A 3100 HV already operates far beyond conventional standards, the laws of physics always allow for an even more uncompromising path. For system configurations demanding the absolute maximum—particularly when driving impedance-critical, power-hungry loudspeakers in High Power Mode—the addition of an external reference power supply unlocks the final dimension of control.

The integration of such an external powerhouse fundamentally transforms the architecture of the system. With its massive capacity, the external power supply exclusively assumes the task of feeding the current-hungry output stages. The internal power supply of the A 3100 HV is thereby entirely liberated from any macro-dynamic heavy lifting.
