Shunyata's New "Performance Series" AC Line Conditioners: Triton Level Performance From $1995.
The most complete AC line conditioner Shunyata Research has ever offered is their model Triton v3, originally $9000, but now discontinued in favor of a new, more affordable line up called the "Performance Series," which basically builds the Triton level tech into three new models ranging in price from $1995 to $4995.

To best describe these new line conditioners, it makes sense to start with the middle unit, the Hydra Alpha A12 ($3500). Consider this a 12 outlet Triton, but with a less expensive chassis, 6 lesser duplex outlets, and simpler feet. And a much lower cost of entry!

The topline model in the new Performance Series, the Hydra Sigma S12 ($4995), simply upgrades the Alpha A12 model with the expensive, Triton-level Coppercon duplex outlets, and Shunyata's top SSF-50 vibration footers.

The least expensive model in the Performance Series, the $1995 Hydra Delta D6, has half the outlets of the Alpha A12, so 6 outlets (3 duplexes) compared to 12 outlets in the Alpha A12, in a smaller chassis, and offers slightly lower overall performance due to the reduced size of the internal noise reduction chambers. But for smaller systems needing only six outlets, this is still reference level performance for under $2k!

Having already received Library samples of the Delta D6 and Alpha A12, we could not be more impressed with the performance, or the value proposition. Highly recommended!
