New Bybee Internal Quantum Signal Enhancer - iQSE

In our April 2017 Email Newsletter, we wrote about the effectiveness of the Bybee Active Room Neutralizers ($1300/pair) and the Bybee Quantum Signal Enhancer ($120). These products were so impressive in our testing that when we were offered the newest Bybee product for evaluation, the iQSE ($149.95) , we very quickly said "by all means- YES!"

The iQSE is an in-component version of the QSE mentioned above. The iQSE is a passive device which is activated by, and interacts with, electromagnetic energy. It works best when placed inside of a component where the electromagnetic fields are strongest. Since the iQSE is rather small (4" x 2"x 1/4") it fits easily inside most component chassis and comes with double-sided, very sticky tape to secure it onto the chassis.

Other than some tedious unscrewing of the top cover of an amplifier and a DAC, installation was very straightforward. We removed the top cover(s), pulled off the tape covering and stuck the iQSE inside the components. In the case of the amplifier, we used the underside of the top lid. On the DAC there was enough room at the back of the chassis.

The iQSE is said to create a electromagnetic field which then effects the electrons within a circuit making them able to move more freely and thereby more efficiently.

So what happens when you install an iQSE inside of a component? You get more musicality - not louder, not heightened treble or bass or anything else that you can really define, but overall the music is more resolved and coherent. Difficult to explain, but very easy to hear, particularly in a high resolution system.

How does it work? There is a scientific explanation put forth by Jack Bybee on the subject on their website:

"Atoms are the basic building blocks of ordinary matter. Atoms can join together to form molecules, which in turn form most of the objects around you.

Atoms are composed of particles called protons, electrons and neutrons. Protons carry a positive electrical charge, electrons carry a negative electrical charge and neutrons carry no electrical charge at all. The protons and neutrons cluster together in the central part of the atom, called the nucleus, and the electrons ‘orbit’ the nucleus.

Carbon atoms are present in all living things, and in the air. Nearly 99% of the carbon atoms are C12 atoms, while less than 2% of the remaining atoms are C13.

Bybee Technologies has developed a product that is energized by a surrounding energy field. Once energized, our product resonates at the same frequency as the C13 atom. Consequently this creates a magnetic field of force effect. In this magnetic field, the polarity of all electrons and protons are altered, affecting their oscillation by making them more aligned with each other. This reaction creates an affect that makes the transfer or sharing of electrons between atoms more streamline and efficient; and air molecules less resistant."

There is also a good review in the May 2017 Positive Feedback issue which details the reviewer's (Larry Cox) experiences with the iQSE, which mirrors our own.

Our conclusion - these things work, and work well, and are easily one of the better, less expensive improvements that you can make to an already good system. At their price these represent good value. Recommended!
