Kimber Kable Releases Their New Top-Line USB Cables

Further evolving their well-received Axios USB design, Kimber Kable released three new USB models in their Top-Line "Kimber Select" series:

Copper (CU) (from $562.50),

Hybrid (HB) (from $750),

and Silver (AG) (from $1250).

The CU model uses silver-plated copper conductors. HB upgrades to pure silver for the data legs, while AG also uses silver for the 5v DC line (yes,it makes a difference). There is a lot more going on in the new designs than just the conductor materials, but the most interesting advantage is the claimed ability to run the cables without loss out to 6m, compared to the usual 3m limitation for notoriously lossy USB cables.

Shipping now; we will make all available for in-home audition through The Cable Library.
