Digital Cables by Audioquest
Our pricing for this product is the "MAP Pricing." This means that the prices shown here are the "minimum advertised prices" permitted by the manufacturer. Because these are already the lowest prices possible, the additional incentives usually available under "Frequent Flyer" program do not apply to this item.
AudioQuest VDM Series cables minimize distortion across an extremely wide bandwidth. A 75? cable is a conduit which must carry relatively low frequency analog video (Composite, up to 4.2MHz), super-sensitive digital audio (SP/DIF, up to 24.576 MHz), uncompressed High Definition video (HDTV, up to 750 MHz), or cable TV/broadband (CATV, up to 1 GHz). VDM (preterminated) and HD6 (use with ITC connectors) cables carry all these signals.
Silver-plating provides higher performance than bare copper. VDM-3's 6.1% Silver conductor significantly outperforms normal 1.25% silver-plate. A shield combining conductive PVC and Silver-Plated braid significantly lowers distortion. Direct-Silver Plated RCA plugs are attached with superior AudioQuest solder.
DIRECTIONS: When using VDM-3 for digital audio, please be sure to observe the directional arrows. Video is not sensitive to directionality.
