Each pair of X16™ speaker cables is comprised of 32 individually FEP insulated strands woven into an optimized Litz-concept braid. Each individual braid utilizes 8 pure silver (99.997%) alternated with 8 high purity oxygen free copper wires. The result is a more affordable product that retains much of the performance of its all-silver cousin, the X32™.
All X-series cables utilize a proprietary center core matrix that is exceptionally effective at acoustically damping the cable. This limits microphonic distortion as well as other problems that plague most speaker cable designs.
Standard termination includes LOK SureGrip™silver spades or banana plug connectors.
