Accustic Arts's Power Cord Ferrite II New Edition
Power Cables by Accustic Arts
Manufacturer's Description:
Principal Design:
The cables of the ACCUSTIC ARTS® POWER CORD series are of a very elaborate
design and, in many ways, extremely different from standard power cords. Power cords, when connecting electronic devices, play a very big role in the transmission of power line noise, which can cause distortion to audio signals. To avoid these phenomena, there are quite a few steps that can be taken, for example: shielding. In the ACCUSTIC ARTS® POWER CORD FERRITE II, not only is shielding used under the outer covering but additionally, each of the three copper conductors are shielded with a very elaborate “Ferrite-Compound” covering. Due to this absorbing layer over the copper conductor, the power cord acts like a “low pass”-filter without influencing the low frequency music signal. High frequencies are absorbed by the magnetical and dielectrical loss of the “Ferrite-Compound” covering and transformed into heat. The damping is proportional to the length of the cord.
