A "Top Line" digital/video cable and an excellent digital transmission link for both AES/EBU and SPDIF applications. "Golden Section", Matched Propagation, design and construction. Cardas Neutral Reference is designed as a perfectly neutral reference cable. It looks the same at any length, whether one or 100 feet, between any digital or video components. Neutral Reference is perfectly symmetrical and non-directional.
Neutral Reference is an excellent digital transmission cable for both AES/EBU and SPDIF applications. It is currently being used for that purpose by Bernie Grundman, one of the largest mastering houses in Los Angeles.
Neutral Reference has a constant impedance characteristic. Transfer impedance will match originating impedance within +/- .5 ohm from 50 to 150 ohms to 30 ft. of cable.
