Many of Herbie's customers use grungebuster Balls in place of standard balls with Gingko platforms and have reported significant sonic improvements. As isolation support for turntables and other audio components, Herbie's grungebuster MedicinBalls are even better.
Though grungebuster IsoBalls featured above, at 35mm diameter, are smaller than Gingko balls, they can be used with most Gingko platforms. The 1-7/8" grungebuster MedicineBall, sized as a direct replacement for Gingko balls, will be available in summer 2010. Because the MedicinBall is not weight-specific, it can be used as an upgrade replacement for both green and blue Gingko balls.

MedicinBall is extremely hard with virtually no "squish." This in-house-developed proprietary material superbly absorbs micro-vibrations while preventing transfer of vibrations from the component to shelf and vice-versa.
grungebuster MedicinBalls are recommended for components weighing from 5 to 500 pounds.
Optional stainless steel base with "Soft Fat" macro-absorbing bottom holds the MedicinBall firmly in place; ball will not roll.
